The project of the new waterfront of Torre Grande proposes a clear vision of the space and a renewed image that wants to give new impetus to the existing commercial activities and to those that can be installed in the future.

Coplanar, the lines of the project are smooth yet regular and accompany the mainly pedestrian flows leaving a central route free for the transit of bicycles and emergency vehicles.

The seaside deck accompanies the pedestrian flow and makes the connection with the beach more gradual thanks to the choice of a durable and natural material, as if to mend the environment of the beach with that of the seaside village of Torre Grande.

On the deck there are wooden chaise longues and a beautiful platform for the rest.

Between the deck and the draining concrete pavement, the one meter wide stone strip houses both the public lighting system on poles and the rainwater collection system, guaranteeing a rationalization of the underground utilities.

The draining concrete flooring is the strip dedicated to vehicular transit, coordinating the warm colors of the wood with the stone and the concrete.

Respecting the proportion of the neighborhood, three new squares with Elaeagnus angustifolia, Callistemon citrinus and Morus Kagayamae “fruitless”, paved in stone with seats facing both the sea and the town, one of these is dedicated to outdoor sports with fitness furnishings.

The Piazza della Torre deserves particular attention: the project plans to link it to the Lungomare with a new light stone flooring.

Near the square, the deck approaches the Tower and becomes a generous space, useful as a stage for shows, with the background of the existing trees of Pinus pinea.

Towards the built-up area, there are the new row of trees of Pinus canariensis.

At the east and west, two gardens create the connection with the other part of the masterplan.

The line of the sea is underlined by the repositioning of the existing palms as a counterpoint to the new row of Pinus canariensis.
