Lot 3 is located on the coastal plain between the railway and the rocky low-lying coast, which is currently bordered by the coastal road. It is a predominantly rural area, characterised by the presence of abandoned vegetable gardens, uncultivated land in a state of neglect, and occupations related to marginal uses and urban poverty.

The project involves the creation of a large park consisting of three well-defined areas:

— Cliff and heath

— Mediterranean woodland

— Pine forest and mediterranean woods

The coastal road is redesigned and becomes a path for slow mobility.

The park is crossed by a new network of cycle and pedestrian paths that intersect with areas equipped for outdoor sports and relaxation.

The project involves extensive de-paving and the creation of large rain gardens to increase permeability and eliminate the drainage systems.

The entire design is based on the principles of Universal Design for use by as wide a range of users as possible, a design aimed at inclusiveness from the initial design approach to the smallest detail.
